Warranty Policy

1. Scope & duration

All LEBA tattoo machines (coil machines, rotary pen machines) include a 3-year worldwide warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects when used for their intended purpose and when maintained according to the included instructions.

2. What the warranty covers

The warranty covers manufacturing and assembly defects that significantly impair the machine’s function, specifically:

For coil tattoo machines:

• Structural frame defects (cracks, weld failures due to manufacturing)
• Coil assembly manufacturing faults leading to functional failure (not caused by misuse)
• Electronic components (SMT) failures traceable to manufacturing or assembly
• Faulty assembly that affects machine performance (loose rivets, improper soldering, etc.)

For rotary pen tattoo machines:

• Motor failure due to manufacturing defects (including brushless motor faults)
• Battery failure due to manufacturing defect (not wear/age or misuse)
• Internal electronic failures traceable to manufacture or assembly
• Other assembly related faults impacting normal function

3. What is not covered (exclusions)

This warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear and consumable parts (e.g., springs/leaf springs, contact screws, contact points, rubber grommets, O-rings, grips)
• Damage caused by impacts, drops, mishandling or physical abuse
• Liquid damage (spills, immersion, exposure to corrosive or toxic liquids)
• Damage from exposure to high humidity, salt air or corrosive atmospheres without proper protective measures
• Improper maintenance or failure to follow the instruction manual and maintenance sheet provided with each machine
• Unauthorized repairs, modifications or use of non-approved parts/components
• Cosmetic damage that does not affect function (scratches, minor dents, finish wear)
• Damage resulting from the use of incompatible needles, cartridges or power supplies not specified by LEBA
• Batteries that have passed normal service life due to age, misuse or lack of proper charging cycles (unless an early-life manufacturing defect is demonstrated)

4. Warranty claim process (step by step)

To start a warranty claim:

1. Contact LEBA: Email info@lebatattoo.com with subject: “Warranty Claim – [Order #]”. Include:

  • Order number and date of purchase
  • Machine serial number (visible on the machine)
  • Certificate of Authenticity (copy/photo)
  • Clear photos and/or video demonstrating the problem (close-ups and wide shots)
  • Description of when the issue started and how the machine was used

2. Initial assessment: LEBA will respond within 5 business days to acknowledge the claim and may request additional information.

3. Pre-authorization & RMA: If the issue requires a physical inspection, LEBA will issue an RMA and shipping instructions. DO NOT ship the product without RMA.

4. Shipping for inspection: Customer arranges shipping to LEBA (unless otherwise instructed). Shipments should be fully insured and tracked. LEBA recommends FedEx. Keep proof of shipment.

5. Inspection & decision: Upon receiving the machine LEBA will inspect and diagnose the fault. This can take up to 15 business days (longer in busy periods). LEBA will inform you of the results and proposed solution.

6. Resolution: If the defect is covered, LEBA will at its discretion:

  • repair the machine free of charge; or
  • replace the machine with an equivalent model; or
  • issue a refund up to the original purchase price where repair or replacement is not feasible.

7. Shipping after repair/replacement: If repair/replacement is covered by warranty, LEBA will cover return shipping costs to the customer’s address (subject to reasonable carrier limits). If the issue is not covered, customer is responsible for return shipping.

5. Evidence & authenticity

To validate a warranty claim LEBA requires:

• Certificate of Authenticity (provided with the machine)
• Proof of purchase (invoice/receipt)
• Serial number matching the machine and documentation
• Photos/videos of the fault

Claims missing these items may be refused.

6. Liability limits

LEBA’s liability under this warranty is limited to the value of the purchased product. LEBA will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including lost profits, loss of business or downtime).

7. Transferability

Warranty is transferable to a new owner if the original Certificate of Authenticity and proof of purchase are transferred. Transfer does not extend the original 3-year period.

8. Important safety & maintenance obligations

Each machine includes a comprehensive instruction and maintenance manual. Proper use, periodic maintenance and suggested cleaning routines are required to keep warranty coverage. Failure to follow the manual may void the warranty.
