Shipping policy
1. Scope
This Shipping Policy governs shipment, transit, insurance, customs, import duties and other logistics aspects of orders placed with LEBA Tattoo Equipment (hereinafter “LEBA”, “we”, “us”). Our headquarters are in Málaga (Spain). By placing an order you accept these terms.
2. Production lead times
All LEBA tattoo machines are handmade and typically built to order according to the artist’s requested configuration. Standard manufacture lead time is 7–15 business days from order confirmation. For special builds or heavy customization lead time may be longer; we will inform you at order confirmation.
3. Shipment method & insurance
• All orders are shipped via FedEx (or equivalent carrier selected by LEBA).
• All shipments are insured by LEBA for the full value of the order while in transit. Insurance covers loss and damage during transit under the carrier’s terms.
4. Shipment processing and tracking
• Once your order ships you will receive a shipment confirmation email containing the carrier, tracking number and estimated delivery date.
• Shipments normally require a signature upon delivery. If no one is available to sign, the carrier’s local procedure will apply (leave a pickup notice, reattempt delivery, or leave at an authorized pick-up point).
5. Transit times
• Transit time depends on destination and carrier route. After manufacture (7–15 business days), typical transit times are:
– Europe: 2–6 business days (FedEx Express)
– North America: 3–7 business days
– Rest of world: 4–12 business days
These are estimates only; carriers and customs may cause delays beyond our control.
6. Customs, import duties and taxes
• For shipments outside the European Union, import duties, local taxes, customs brokerage fees and other government charges may apply. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient (customer).
• LEBA does not collect or cover import duties or taxes (unless otherwise explicitly agreed). The carrier (FedEx) will contact the recipient with instructions; failure to comply may result in the parcel being held or returned. LEBA is not liable for customs delays or charges.
7. Lost or damaged shipments
• If the parcel is visibly damaged at delivery, refuse delivery and immediately contact LEBA at info@lebatattoo.com providing photos/videos of the external packaging and damage.
• For lost or missing shipments, contact LEBA immediately so we can open an insurance claim with the carrier. Claims require: order number, tracking number and supporting evidence.
• Insurance claims are processed under the carrier’s terms; payouts can be subject to inspection and verification.
8. Change of address & failed deliveries
• If a delivery attempt fails due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, additional re-delivery or return fees will be charged to customer. LEBA is not responsible for delays or costs caused by incorrect shipping details.
9. Shipment of returns or warranty items
• For returns or warranty shipping instructions please read our Returns & Warranty pages. In all warranty cases we require prior authorization from LEBA and a Return Authorization Number (RMA).
