Refund policy
1. Scope & definitions
• “Customer” = buyer (consumer or business).
• “Return” = ship a product back for refund.
• “Warranty” = separate procedure for defective items (see Warranty Policy).
2. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
For consumers in the European Union, the EU Consumer Rights Directive provides a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases of non-customized goods. This right does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized.
• If the product is custom-made (built to your requested configuration) the 14-day withdrawal right does not apply. Custom-made machines are not refundable except under our Warranty Policy for manufacturing defects.
• For standard stocked items shipped to EU consumers, the consumer may withdraw within 14 days from receipt if the product is returned unused and in original condition.
3. Return eligibility (non-custom stock items)
To be eligible for a refund:
• Item must be unused, in original condition and original packaging.
• All accessories, manuals and authenticity/certificate documents must be included.
• The customer must request a Return Authorization (RMA) prior to shipping.
4. How to request a return
1. Contact info@lebatattoo.com within the allowed return window and request an RMA, providing: order number, purchase date, serial number and reason for return + photos/videos if applicable.
2. If the return is accepted, LEBA will issue an RMA and instructions for shipping.
Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused or returned at customer cost.
5. Return shipping & costs
• Return shipping is paid by the customer, unless the return is authorized as part of a valid warranty claim and LEBA has explicitly agreed to cover inbound shipping.
• Returns must be shipped fully insured (we recommend FedEx) and tracked. LEBA is not responsible for returns lost in transit if the customer did not insure the shipment.
6. Refunds & deductions
Once the returned item is received and inspected:
• If approved, a refund will be issued to the original payment method.
• The refunded amount will equal the product price minus:
– original shipping cost (outbound)
– return shipping cost (inbound)
– payment processing fees charged by the payment service provider
– a restocking fee where applicable (see below)
Restocking fee
• For non-defective returns of opened or lightly used products, LEBA may charge a modest restocking fee (typical range 5–15%) to cover inspection, repackaging and administrative costs. This will be communicated when RMA is issued.
7. Refund timeframe
Refunds are processed within 14 days after LEBA receives and inspects the returned item. The final credit time depends on the customer’s bank or payment provider.
8. Non-refundable items
• Custom-built tattoo machines (made to order) are not refundable unless covered by warranty for a manufacturing defect.
• Consumables opened/used in a sanitary manner (e.g., disposable tubes) are non-returnable for hygiene reasons.
9. Wrong or defective shipments
If you received the wrong item or a materially defective product, contact info@lebatattoo.com immediately. LEBA will provide instructions for return and will either replace the item or refund, including reasonable shipping costs, upon verification.
